What if Dave Matthews joined the Counting Crows? How much would you pay to see that supergroup? Fifty dollars? A hundred dollars? Two hundred dollars?
Think about it.
Scarecrow Boat answers the question, "What if there were a band better than that supergroup (which doesn't even exist, by the way)?" Over the last nine years Scarecrow Boat has quickly established themselves as one of central Indiana's up and coming bands to watch.
Led by frontman Andy Dwyer, the 'Boat refuses to be confined to one style of music. They don't even like being called musicians, because they feel there's more to their act. "It's a full-body experience," says Dwyer, "Boatheads tell us they sometimes leave our shows feeling super happy, or really sad, or spiritual, or violent, or hungry, or wanting to call their mom. We're just glad to make people feel something."
The famous Boat live concert features the showmanship of a Criss Angel magic performance and the energy of a Dane Cook comedy show. And often, several “Matchbox 20” covers. Currently, Scarecrow Boat is touring off their latest recording, a 5 song EP/demo that has earned airplay on the "El Rocko Local" show on WLMN.
